Good day, subscriber,

On February 23, Germany faces one of the most challenging elections in decades. The latest forecasts on the distribution of votes are published almost daily. But does demoscopy also capture the diffuse mood of the population and the often unconscious motivations of voters that ultimately lead to a decision?

The rheingold Institute is currently conducting a psychological election study to understand the complex and often surprising considerations in this particular situation. Since 2002, we have regularly placed 50 voters on the couch before federal elections to analyze both overt and covert motives that lead to voting decisions.

On January 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. we cordially invite you to the digital presentation of the study digital presentation. Stephan Grünewald, graduate psychologist and founder of the rheingold Institute, will present the results and provide valuable insights into the mood of society and their impact on voting behavior.

We are delighted that the results will be published in print and online on the same day by our media partner ZEIT.
