Good morning, subscriber,

Effective May 1, the rheingold Institute is undergoing a strategic realignment. With Jana Baum as CEO, Judith Barbolini (COO) , and Paul Bremer (CSO), a new leadership trio is taking the helm to guide rheingold into its next phase of development—with a clear focus on innovation, market insight, and psychological research.

For our clients, partners, and allies, this means one thing above all else: continuity and growth at the same time. Because rheingold remains true to its core—depth psychology research and a unique understanding of consumers, markets, and societal trends. At the same time, we are creating new structures to apply our insights even more effectively to current business challenges.

Focus on psychological research and clients

“With Jana Baum, rheingold is gaining a leader who will strategically advance our institute,” says institute founder Stephan Grünewald, who, like the other partners, will focus even more strongly on psychological research, our clients, and presentations in the future. “She embodies a close integration of market insight, innovation, and modern corporate leadership—exactly what we need for the next phase of our development.”

C-level responsibility

Jana Baum is taking on the role of CEO. She brings extensive experience in transformation, business model development, and strategic management. Most recently, she has helped organizations with their realignment and growth, particularly at the intersection of market strategy, innovation, and AI.

Joining her are two long-time rheingold veterans:

Judith Barbolini (COO) has been shaping the institute’s international research and innovation efforts for many years. As the driving force behind the rheingold Avatar Suite, she is committed to advancing new, AI-powered research approaches.

Paul Bremer (CSO) has been a leading voice at the institute for years, combining expertise in depth psychology with a keen sense for market and consumer issues. Going forward, he will further strengthen rheingold’s market position, consolidate key insights, and explore new areas of focus.
