Tasks

  • Conducting explorations/ depth psychology interviews (the main focus of the vacancy is the interviews, which take place both f2f and partly in a remote setting)
  • Participation in analysis sessions for qualitative customer projects
  • Morphological interviewing (under guidance and with appropriate onboarding and further training)
  • Writing concise descriptions
  • Administrative tasks, e.g. in the form of organizing appointments

Qualification

  • A valid enrollment at a state-recognized university, ideally in the field of psychology / social / cultural / media studies or comparable
  • Interest in market, media and cultural research and initial experience with qualitative-psychological methods of social research
  • Curiosity and openness for new approaches to topics and questions of our culture
  • Flexibility and willingness for long-term employment
  • Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Very good English skills

Our offer:

The internship offers the chance to get to know the working methods of morphological psychology in the context of market and media research and this in one of the most renowned institutes of qualitative-psychological impact research. Our interns are directly involved in the project work by supporting the project teams in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of psychological-qualitative research. This includes, among other things, participation in rheingoldGroups® and workshops, customer contact, participation in rheingoldInterviews®, active participation in analysis sessions, and assistance in the preparation of presentations.

Usually every six months, starting on 01.04. and 01.10., a training year begins with us and we sign up new trainees.

The application process for April 2024 has already been completed.

In the two-year training program, we teach the tools of morphological psychology as well as an introduction to marketing and other important aspects of business life, in order to subsequently be able to explore our culture as well as the cultures of other countries in depth psychology.

During the 16-month “Trainee Basic” training, the focus is on conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups, followed by an introduction to evaluation, client management and project organization. If suitable, this is followed by an 8-month ”Trainee Master” program focusing on analysis, report writing and presentation. At the end of the two training phases, participants are qualified to be project managers.

Our goal is to employ you on a permanent basis after you have successfully completed your trainee program.
